Post #1: Plight of Princess Yuki

We decided to get inspired for our first post! What's better than sitting on a comfy armchair, reading adventurous stories on your laptop while sipping a hot cocoa? Well that's what we've got for all the kids out there! Its the season of the year when it starts getting chilly, and the nights get longer while the days are shorter. Pretty much the perfect time to be inside the house, cozy and warm. I am not much of an inside person myself. It gets boring when your favorite blogs and YouTube channels don't post anything. Don't worry, we've got you covered! Go on reading, to find out the story of our beloved princess Yuki!

Yuki was the princess of the land of bamboos and greens (Now known as Japan). She was quite stressed, because her parents constantly compared her with her twin sister, Yasmin. This resulted in the slight frown on her face. Otherwise, she was very pretty. Long strands of silver hair ran down her shoulders and her eyes were beautifully blue. Yuki hated being cooped up in the palace and the royal gardens which were full of weeds and thorns. She usually ran down to the village, where she made many friends. Her parents expected her to be proper, and princess-like, but she wasn't. She loved to bake, and got messy all the time. Her parents wanted her to dance gracefully, but she was a horrid dancer and always tripped when she wore high heels.

Yuki was the older twin, so she was supposed to inherit the kingdom from her parents. She wanted to reduce the heavy taxes and abolish the strict rules. She wanted everyone to be treated equally and give her people some civil rights. Yasmin liked the kingdom the way it was, with loads of taxes and heavy fines for the smallest mistakes. Since the king and queen doted on Yasmin, they wanted her to become queen, even though it was against the law. Both twins were aware of this. Yasmin plotted to kill Yuki and make it look like an accident, by poisoning her at the blood ball.

DID SHE SUCCEED? STAY TUNED TO FIND OUT!
